Money Fire is dedicated to bringing you amazing music in any form, but we are especially fond of records (we are, after all, a record label). And this is one album in particular that really blazes brighter on the vinyl format. Best Behavior has been turning heads and getting rave reviews for their debut full-length, Good Luck Bad Karma, since the CD was released last fall. Now their first offering of catchy garage and surf rock tunes is hot off the press and ready to light your turntable up. NEW RELEASE: SUPERBLONDE Goodbye Vibrations EP
As a super DIY label, it’s sort of our job to bring you new music in an immediate fashion. We came across this band called Superblonde — who aptly describe them selves as “space-grunge/apocalyptic pop” (read with echo voice). Possibly like My Bloody Valentine thumb wrestling Alice In Chains. What does that even mean? I don’t know. Anyways, our head honcho John Meredith recorded them at Mollusk studio and thought we should put it out. So, Money Fire Records is proud to present the fantastic new 6-song digital EP from SUPERBLONDE. Why are you still reading this? Go listen to their new EP—- GOODBYE VIBRATIONS

Debut LP from THE LAST THROES
Hot new release alert, kids! We are proud to announce the debut LP from Last Throes. The record is called Get Me Wrong and it features 10 blistering tracks. It drops January 29th courtesy of, you know…. us. It’s got a lot of really great old school hardcore vibes starting with this rad record cover. Raymond Pettibon would be proud. Or he’d hate it. It’s hard to tell with that guy…. Anyways, the release show is at The Grand Victory. Page your babysitter now!!!
Basic Axemanship by Fellow Project AVAILABLE NOW!!!
We’re super excited to announce that the new 10″ EP from Fellow Project is now available on our Bandcamp to stream, order, and/or download. These folks have been hustling for a long time in the DIY scene and we’re proud to be a part of their killer discography/legacy/Long Island street cred. Anyways, go interact with this awesome record in a proactive way:
LOW FAT GETTING HIGH s/t LP AVAILABLE NOW!!!
The much anticipated debut full length by Brooklyn noise punk crew Low Fat Getting High is now available on vinyl and download. The Village Voice says they’re the best rock band in New York City. Spin Magazine says they hold their own against Queens of the Stone Age and Death From Above 1979. Maximum Rock’n Roll says you should kill yourself if you like this band. So, do yourself a favor and form your own polarizing opinion about this record that you can tell everyone about.
BOOGIE NIGHTS by THE BLACK BLACK Available NOW!!!
The debut LP by The Black Black is available for download/streaming/mail order/yadda yadda. It’s awesome. It’s a true realization of our pals The Black Black on vinyl. The songwriting is really pushing the boundaries of post punk with an artful mind for weirdo pop compositions, as well as a refreshingly acerbic lyrical wit. We’ve been watching these dudes hustle for so long, and it’s really awesome to see this 12″ plate of vinyl spinning on a turntable. The next step is to watch them all disappear into your hands. So, go for it. You know you want one. On top of being a great sounding piece of vinyl thanks to the masterful production efforts of John Meredith, it is a great looking piece of musical merchandise featuring a bunch of artwork by Michael Sincavage. This thing is a full on Money Fire community effort. People talk about independent music. Well…. this is independent music. Throw some money in the fire, and help support the scene, manna!

GRIZZLOR: When You Die EP OUT NOW!!!
Grizzlor’s new EP is out now. Read below for what other people think about them and their record, then go get yourself a copy over on our BANDCAMP PAGE!!!! and form your own opinion.
“New Haven’s Grizzlor are a brutal new band that sludges and punks and grunges up the metal. Their music is loud, agitated, aggressive, and makes for a 100% good time.”— OH MY ROCKNESS
“Chaos, by definition, can not be controlled. It is the state of complete disorder and confusion yet there are those artists that try to saddle chaos and break it like a wild stallion. For the listener it’s hold on for dear life because the ride is beyond a turbulent one. Connecticut’s GRIZZLOR is the perfect example of a band harnessing the raw power of unadulterated chaos and trying to add some structure to it. The result lies somewhere between success and mayhem.”—LONESOME NOISE
“Baked sludge absurdity, power-slopping through four tracks of surfed-out stoner doom, these guys make drug-nihilism and wild-eyed crazy sound like a hell of a lot of fun. A 3-piece from Connecticut, GRIZZLOR totally slayed me with this 7″, released Oct 4th on Money Fire Records. Sloppy, raw, fucking dirty, but upbeat (with more than a tinge of madness) these guys take the Eyehategod/Fistula base on a detour through trebly surf punk spazz.”—THE SLUDGELORD
LOW FAT GETTING HIGH Announce Debut LP
We are so stoked to announce that we are releasing the debut LP from Low Fat Getting High. These guys have been hustling to finish this thing forever. So, it’s finally going to be a tangible object, and that’s fucking fantastic. It comes out November 11th. Stay tuned for more details! In the meantime, check out “Can’t See Anymore” on our Money Fire Summer 2014 Sampler.
New GRIZZLOR 7″ EP On The Way
So, you’re heard of Grizzlor by this point, right? Good. Well, we have some info for their new 7″. First, it’s called “When You Die.” We all know that’s a great EP title. So, I can hear you begging to know when it comes out. Well, it will be available online October 1st. Then these guys are throwing a crazy release show in Connecticut October 4th. If you’re one of those Brooklyn folks, you might want to make friends with someone who has a car ASAP. There’s nothing like a rad band playing on their home court, right? That’s a thing isn’t it? No? Whatever, it’s gonna be a rad show, and the EP rules. So. There.
